Best of luck to you, CJ.

Those minutes Navarro played against LIU looking critically important now.

That sucks. I hope he recovers soon, and completely. Ohio has not been lucky, as far as injuries at QB, the last two years.

He used the term "medical emergency". It made me think it isn't an injury but something like arrhythmia or a spinal issue where he isn't in any pain but can't play football. That term makes me wonder if he is ever going to Plat again. Of course this is speculation from me reading stuff into two words. Best of luck CJ.

Could be an appendectomy or something. Can't those keep you out a couple of months?

It could be or long COVID. However though he may have played through it for the first 4 games because I believe that is the max you can play and get a medical redshirt exemption.

I don't know that an appendectomy would keep him out of potential December games. Maybe. But, I mean, you are right, I am sure there are emergencies like that which would fit the bill on keeping him out in 2023 but give him a chance to play at 100% in 2024 ih he wants. Let's hope it is something like that.

Whatever it is, here's hoping he has a full recovery.

I have my speculations, but they just as much factual as the rest of the speculating here, so I'll refrain.

However, as Pataskala said, I wish him a complete recovery from whatever it is that ails him! He's an intelligent and very nice young man. I hope see him in Green and White again when his health circumstances permit!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery QB Harris and thanks for being a Bobcat.

This leads me to ask, who is now third on the QB depth chart?

C.J. Harris is a class act and a great Bobcat. I wish him a recovery and only the best for him. Great kid!

I think Winters has passed Wither up and would most likely be 3rd.

I'm sure they'd like to redshirt Winters but also get him some blowout time in a couple of games under the new redshirt rules. But redshirting freshmen isn't as important under the new rules. There is a realistic chance that he'll be thrown into the fire against the three P5 teams in 2025 as a RS-So. without much experience under his belt. I don't know if Harris and Navarro will have eligibility left even if they want to come back. Apparently, both have graduated. Harris might ask for a medical redshirt this year bur we have no idea what is happening with that. 2025 is a long way off and hard to predict.
