Regarding Kent players, saw on Twitter that we’ve offered this safety, Dean Clark. Was a Captain in 2021, hurt most of 2022. Was a 3 star in high school with service academy and fcs offers other than Kent from what I’m seeing- https://kentstatesports.com/sports/football/roster/dean-c...

Not really, TA is going no where.
14 players in the portal on a roster of 120 including walk-ons doesn't compare to 7 in the portal on a 15 person counting practice squad basketball roster.

Lack of in-state Ohio kids recruited means even fewer make a OSU or UC roster and have to go the MAC route.

If Rourke can rehab quickly and we can return all the weapons on offense...

I think OU spends some time ranked next season.

Yes, the O$U transfer has another year, and from what I've heard is planning to return this fall. He's still working on his master's degree.

Another big one gone for Kent State...leading receiver Devontez Walker entered the portal.

Had 921 receiving yards and 11 TDs this season.

Jacoby is a Jr. Cross is young.

Both feel like they could be a flight risk. Especially Cross as a 3rd WR. Jacoby is a JUCO kid who had a great year. He’s from Miss.

I like to think no one is going to flee this offense… but you never know in this day and age.

That will work as long as we have players like the Rourke brothers . Can we count on that?

Thanks for keeping this up=to-date. I wanted to see bench-warmers transferring out and 3-star (and 4-stars) transferring in. I don't like the portal concept, but since it's there, I want to see OHIO use it for maximum benefit. I think we the season we've had this year we the portal can end up being a net positive for us.

Holy cow, if Wiglusz can return and Jacoby improves in year 2 we will be dangerous. Toss in the return of both tight ends (Kaczmarek really improved through the year) and O'Sean returning with Sieh -- we can be truly dominating on offense. I know a bunch of linemen got experience as well. In terms of Cross leaving, I think he'll stay with Bostic graduating. Why would you leave a guy like Rourke who makes you look amazing. I still wish we had Shane Hooks. Dude had 59 catches for 700 yds and 10 scores this year for Prime.

I didn't quite understand this move from Cooper. Am I missing something about Ballz State that makes it a destination for big-time backs from mid-majors? Am I missing the MAC Championship games and all the wins?

Is that confirmed? He must be about to finish his PhD at this point.

Sieh is a monster, so I'm a little afraid of him bolting after the bowl game... a lot of people jump into the portal ASAP... but I still think it's a risk.

Wiglusz didn't leave OSU until AFTER the spring game in May.

Somebody should reach out to Xavier Johnson or Kamryn Babb (SR at OSU) and some of the other fringe guys in the Wigs mold they collect. Would love to steal Blaize Exline (Salem).

Also... Stocksdale (Cincy), Joop Mitchell (Cincy), David Adloph (Dublin)). They've got some decent players who will never see the field.
