Thats pretty slick. I like that better than the floating beer-pong rafts I've seen

VERY very rarely I'll hear it called beirut, but I think beerpong is by far the predominate term.

I like it. My only complaint is that it eliminates the bounce. It's not the most common shot since it's difficult to pull off, but I've seen some games won and lost when a team was distracted and the other one nailed a quick bounce.

I remember seeing an informal survey a few years ago asking people what they called it. IIRC, beirut was still the more common name in the New England region.

Gotta be vigilant and guard against the bounce.

They do in "Beerfest," which is authoritive. I mean, if you call that beer pong, what do you call actual beer pong?

I recently played "Civil War". It is way better than beer pong and much more fast paced. We could play 6-on-6 no problem.

I too have had a great deal of fun playing Civil war. It is fun, but FAR more agressive than beer pong. Its not a casual/hanging out game, very intense. Not unlike slapcup (think quarters meets beerpong)

My friends and I used to play "Flip Pong." I'm sure you can imagine how to play that. Since we graduated we've gotten together every Christmas (two years lol) to play a little flip pong and hang out.
