Need a little help from the crowd. Any input would be much appreciated.
Going to the Buffalo game, and haven't watched a game in Peden before. Any suggestions on sections and rows to watch from that would prevent obstruction from the sideline. Basically, how many rows up do we need to be to see the entire field. We prefer to be opposite from the student section.
Thank guys. Go Bobcats!

To be clear of visual obstructions such as people walking in front of the first row I would say 15 rows up would be a safe bet. I've had seats 30 rows up and have been generally pleased with the viewing experience. The stands have a gentle slope so its not the easist to see over a crowd when everyone is sitting, let alone standing.

I sit in section 105 and I have seats in row 13 & 14 and have no sight problems with the people walking in front.

Not really any bad seats in Peden. only questionable areas are the first few seats on both sides of the metal bleachers as you end up looking through the fence and the last few seats on the scoreboard end of the tower side, you can not see the lower corner of the endzone.

I've never sat anywhere but the student seats (both during the Knorr years as a student and the 12ish games at Peden I've made it to as an alum). I can understand your wanting to avoid the student section, but you'll never get me over to the "old zone". One nice thing about the student side is that its general admission, so you can move around to your hearts content.

Thanks for the heads up. We're pumped to be heading to Athens. We'll be seeking a tailgate or two when the time draws near.
Until then, I will maintain my status as a conscientious observer to the board, and perhaps rally a few more Cornhuskers down to Athens that are making the trip for the Nebraska-Ohio State game later that evening.

Heh, good point. I was referring to the stupid corner things that I will demand to be bulldozed when I donate 100 billion to Ohio athletics.

They actually have a new section with backs on them this year. The block O on the Press box side now has backs.

Sit in the student section right next to the 110 and get entertained by the Cats on the Field and the ones in the stands.

Also, the Phillips Section has had backs for years and the Tower Club has theater-type seats.

I drove by the stadium last night and the home stands are now black with a bright white block O for what its worth.

Just a thought ,but if OSU plays Neb. at 8PM, and we play at Noon against Buffalo. Looks like a good time to work on Neb. for Solich fans to come to our game before the Neb. game. Butts in the seats.

Can anyone snag a pic of this? I would love to see what it looks like now.

I want say that the Ohio Bobcat Athletics Facebook page posted a pic of it recently.

I caught it out of the corner of my eye on Relentless and had to go back and pause it.
