He's working on the defensive line breakdown, which should be a challenge, because there are so many players who could be fighting for PT. In the meantime, I was looking over his blog from yesterday, on the offensive line. It seems that the depth chart looks something like:

LT - Prior R-Jr, McQueen R-Fr or Lechner R-Jr
LG - Carlotta R-Sr or Lechner R-Jr, Pritchard Sr
C - Allen Sr, Bales R-Sr, Powell R-Fr
RG - Herman R-Sr, Johnson R-Jr, Mike Lucas R-Fr
RT - McGrath R-Jr, Dietz R-So

The question that jumped out at me is what happened to Mark Smith? The last two years he has played some at LG. Are they finally going to redshirt him this year? That seems like a reasonable thing to do, with both Carlotta and Lechner.

My next thought is that this line ought to be as good or better than last year. The center three starters are back, and should be one more year more improved. The question is how Prior and McGrath will perform in place of Strum and Flading. Based on their grades last year, I'm not expecting much of a drop, if any this year from the tackles.

My final thought is, what about 2013? There is definitely a pipeline of players. Besides those above, there are lots of others that will be trying to work into the rotation, but even without others, you'll have 3 returning starters, and solid players at the other two positions.
