I noticed in one episode of Relentless (3rd I think) that Jordan Thompson was studying Penn State film from last year to try and pick up some individual tendencies of Penn State players even though everybody knew both the defense and offense would be different.

In the last episode I noticed Chase Cochran with game film and still pictures of the Auburn defense from last season when Ted Roof was the DC. We can assume the coaching staff also had film of New England.

It is obvious that a tremendous amount of homework was completed by the entire team including the coaching staff and support staff to put us in a position to win. Congratulations to everybody!

This was a special win for everybody assoicated with our school.  For me it was extra special because I attended the game with my father.  He is 80 and in very poor health.  It was a struggle for him to even get to his seat, but he made it, cheered hard and we enjoyed every minute of the time we spent together.  I drove over 1,800 miles from Richmond to Columbus and then on to State College and back, but it was worth it!

How many games have you and your dad been to together, Chip?  I remember him coming down for Ohio games back in 1981 (wearing his OSU gear!). :)

He has burned all of his O$U gear!  We have been on quite a loosing streak of games we have gone to together.  Of course, we are normally going to difficult games.  This was our first game together since Wyoming.

Saturday helps take some of the sting away from the NC State loss that all of us attended.  Speaking of gear, when the tropical storm hit we bought ponchos at the local K-Mart.  Dad kept saying how friendly the NC State fans were.  I told him that was because he had a Dale Earnhardt poncho on!

Dad has had four open heart surgeries, a stroke, esophagus cancer and needs both knees replaced, but he was "Relentless" on Saturday!

Stopped by Read Hall Wednesday, can't believe it has been 31 years!
