UL-Monroe....I don't think so. They go to Auburn next week and then get Baylor the week after that.

Next two games are Auburn and Baylor. If they somehow survive those two, then I'll be worried.

Thanks guys, I feel much better now.  I should have looked at their upcoming games.  As good as they looked they might win one those games, but I'd be very surprised if they win both.

Not so fast my friend.  If they come down out of the clouds quickly they can beat Auburn, which is 0-2 after losing to Miss St today.  Baylor's another story, although they have them at home on national TV.  Don't count them out just yet.

Potential BCS buster Nevada went down! Was hoping La. Tech would lose to Houston.

Anyone else feel kinda bad rooting against all the other non-AQ schools?

Although it'll be awesome to see the support we get from all the other non-AQ fans if/when we crack the top 25.

Ball State was up to #12 in '08 before dropping the MAC Championship, and they had a similar schedule to what we face this season.

With the new BCS rules we would be GUARANTEED a spot in a BCS bowl if we are the highest ranked non-AQ and finish in the top 12. We'd also be guaranteed a BCS bowl if we finish in the top 16 and above one of the AQ conference champions (most likely the Big East).

Right now the only two non-AQ's ranked above us are Boise and BYU. Boise already dropped a game and BYU still has Boise and Notre Dame on their schedule, so they are much less likely to run the table than us.

Lookit, it's way too early to speak of going undefeated.  Do that at season's end.

But let me give you one basic...for those of you who lack your M.O. (Master of the Obvious).  ANY TEAM that goes undefeated is a top ten team.  Because it's is very, very difficult to do that.  If you think an undefeated O H I O will not make a BCS bowl, then you need to adjust your thinking.

Tell me how many teams on average go undereated each year.  Think it's easy?

No more talk of undefeated for at least six more weeks, realistically 8+.

It never looks to me like any of the O line goes around under eated!

Real, I'm right there with you! I'm for all the "little guys" -- even Fiami (although that seems weird ... and frankly worthless owing to their multiple centuries of suckatude).

The immediate "worries" (though a good friend once told me worry is a worthless emotion) for OUr team are (a) Marshall and (b) special teams that seem something much less than special at the moment.

The only thing to worry about is OUr next game.  All else is not matters.
