Letting them hang around

Or  not.

You've got to give NMSU credit - they have played hard, and they are a solid team, and improved from last year.

They beat Sac St by 39 last week and Sac St beat Colorado today (granted Colo isn't that good, but still it's 1AA beating 1A).  You can't take them lightly.

I see that there are nine different Bobcats with receptions so far. They are spreading the ball around.

Also, it's great to see the backups getting some time early. It isn't cleanup time, really. There is a lot of time left.

This is a game even two years ago Ohio would've struggled to win.

Special teams still look atrocious, but the offense is just methodical at cranking out yardage.

Why do our coaches wear Orange? I remember this from last year as well, but just curious.

Usually they are there for call relay. It is so the guys on the field can pick them out easier to pick up their assignment in the no huddle. Same reason one guy usually has an all blue, red, or orange arm.

I see Penn State loses by 1 on a late TD. Looking the stats, I'm not sure how they lost. There were about equal yards, and Penn State had a 4-0 turnover advantage. Normally that would win.

along with missing 4/5 field goals and a PAT PSU's offense managed to get a whopping 1 yard of offense off of four UVA turnovers.

Our field goal and punting teams need work.  Blocking seems questionable and we don't get the kicks off quickly enough.

The more I watch football the more I think that the game is all about the defensive line.  If your d-line dominates, you have a very good chance of winning.

It works for the New York Giants. They seemingly have the Marx Brothers in their secondary every year and still field a good defense based on the fromt four.

I don't know if this has been posted or not, but the ESPN site has the plays of the game up in video clips in succession on their site.

Someone else mentioned turning down the sound on ESPN3 and turning up Power 105, I did the same thing.  Used my son's X-Box on the big screen wall unit in the man cave.  Turned down the sound and took my I-phone and turned up the sound to Power 105 on one of the apps my kids added to the phone.  Great sound to go with the picture I was getting through ESPN3.  Earlier in the day I had tried to watch bits and pieces of other games on the computer in my office while doing work.  It was poor reception at best.  However, the feed from the X-Box was very good, and there is nothing better than listening to Russ, Rob and Tom.

GO BOBCATS!

About the guy on their side who said something about OUr O-line being 'mid-level.'  584 yards and 51 points later, wOUld yOU care to re-assess.
