Really frustrating that the WMU and Miami games have not been given a game time yet. Can't plan or prepare for snot. Those of us hours away are screwed bc we can't make hotel arrangements, can't plan a tailgate, etc. There is a BIG difference between a Noon, 3:30 or 7pm game time when you live four hours away.

This is just the new normal for midseason games now.

Ohio usually has scheduled the webstream games for 2:00. But if it is on TV it won't be at 2:00. A lot of people complained about the 3:30 time that was set for Homecoming. It seems to me that these mid-major Homecoming times are being set in the offseason early for planning purposes and TV isn't going to move them but they seem to be mostly at 3:30 so that they still have a chance to be picked up. I'm guessing that 3:30 Homecoming games are the new normal from now on as well.

Probably waiting for Miami to be flexed into primetime.

It's not just us. As of today, only ten Saturday games in 1A/FBS have game times set during WMU week and just eight during MOFO week. Practically all of the games involving top 25 teams are still "TBD." It all depends on TV picks. And, ironically just about all the G5 teams wind up on ESPN+ which isn't limited to a noon, 3:30 or 7:00 start time.

I assume the Miami game will bring GameDay to town.

This has been normal for a while. The WMU game time will probably be set on Monday as the TV channels pick what they want. We were lucky with this this year. We had a week zero game so that was another early week game set before the season started and we play two road games during opponent homecoming. Plus, it is not really lucky as the cost is a weeknight game, but the MACtion TV window is also known before the season. I think Oct 21 and 28 are the only ones that were totally open to be set anytime 12 days in advance. Though, I believe, The NIU game had a set TV window since it is their homecoming, but ESPNU did move the game from 3:30 to 4:00 a couple of days ago.

We can complain if we want about travel plans but this is not going to change.
