With that kind of money coming in we could build a new stadium every 5-10 years.
+1 - and at least a couple thousand a game (X 8 = $8K) - now that's REAL $ - EVERY GAME - Makes $50 seat fees Totally Irrelevent/unnecassary!
A wild guess on my part is we could sell 3,000 beers per game. At eight dollars a pop (HAH! i kill me), that's 24 grand per game, easily $20K in profit.
Six home games means an additional $120,000 per season.
If we charge an average of $15 per ticket per game, then it's the same as increasing attendance by 1,250 people PER GAME.
If we average 16K per game, that 1250 "people" is a 7% "increase" in attendance.
That's pretty big.
I know there are tons of concerns about selling beer in Peden.
I know the administration is sensitive to the "party school" image.
I have to believe, though, that there is a way to make this work.
