against the Bears. Looking good and holding his own. First pro reception early and starting in the punt receiving spot

First Colt to touch the ball (other than the kicker) this season -- fair catch on a punt.

UNFORTUNATELY THE DISH/CHANNEL 10 DISAGREEMENT DOES NOT ALLOW VIEWING.  INTERESTED IN FINAL DETAILS.

COlts offense is not making great strides and BEars defense (coach Rhodes nephew Nick Roach playing LB) is looking pretty solid. Lavon dropped a couple and got an interference call as well as a couple of catches so far. Avery and Wayne have been the main targets but Lavon looks good. THe indy press and media has been very nice to him. I expect they will complain about the mishandled kick tomorrow but he has been solid.

Seemed like he was trying to do too much.  That was 6 or 7 yds deep in the endzone and he never should've run it out.  When the first contact by the coverage team is at the 10, you know you're in trouble.  He had it tucked in pretty well (Dierdorf thought so, too); it was just a good play by the Bears.  I think it was the only time Gumbell made a point to say LaVon was a 6th round pick from Ohio.

Was fortunate to be at the game. The Colts lined Brazil in a lot of spots and was targeted a lot during the game. His fumble was pretty bad as he didn't get hit hard (I felt bad cheering for the fumble, but I'm a Bears fan...I must be satisfied!). He returned 8 yards deep, but the Colts didnt do him any favors by allowing 6 men through on coverage.

However, he was back returning punts later in the game.

Good to see him. However, more happy in the Bears win. Bears, Beers, Sausage, nap.
