Stories of the eyepatch are spreading. Rumor has it some team from far out west in the state of New Mexico is planning to head to Athens soon, and they have it in their mind to check out this eyepatch thing, and find out just how tough the Bobcats wearing it are.

I'd imagine the offense of the Herd is saying, "We are the number 1 ranked passing offense in the nation.  We want to see how tough that Ohio defense is and to see if the Ohio  pass rush can effect the Herd and see if those Cat DB's, Safety's and LB's can keep up with the Herd receivers"   

Penn State was too arrogant to even know Ohio was wearing an EYEPATCH and found out the hard way!
NMS did know but gave up trying in knocking it off shortly after the half.
Marshall knows all about the EYEPATCH  and has been waiting 12 looonnnnng months to not only pull that patch off but to kick dirt in both eyes.  And the Herd, as tops in the nation passing, have their own two week in the making swagger enough to believe that they are going to bury us in that ditch.

Just how tough are the 2012 Bobcats?  MARSHALL WANTS TO KNOW!!!!!!!!

This is the game of the year.

Can't have game of the year every week.  Teams don't peak every week.  Still not in MAC play and the teams first real goal was win MAC, not go undefeated. Cato is a fine QB and his WRs Wilson/Dobson have 30/28 starts respectively, This will be the time for the new DL coach's charges to get Mr. Cato's attention early/often.  I expect the Ohio offense to take some pages from WVU's book and keep the Marshall D rated 110th or worse.  Marshall actually ran 101 plays for 500+ yards and 32 minutes of TOP vs WVU and they lost 69-34.  Defense wins and TT, hopefully, can look like Geno Smith vs the Herd.
