I believe tonight that OCF set a new domestic BA record -- watching an Ohio game from farther away than Monroe.  As I write this I'm in Seattle, Washington, which I think is farther away from Huntington than is Monroe's home.  I don't believe we had anyone watching from Alaska or Hawai'i.    Now, if our poster from Japan was watching, he obviously will take the international crown.

I will say that the feed from MU was very good.  I have a small netbook with me with that has an HDMI jack which I was able to connect to the HDMI input on the TV in our hotel room.  So we watched it on the TV screen, which made the picture about four times bigger than on my netbook screen.  The audio also came out of the TV at a good volume.  The feed only "buffered" about three times -- two were extremely brief and one lasted maybe two minutes.  Other than that the feed was great.  The announcers seemed not to be real big homers, other than their inability to look at replays and see that Ohio was going to get a call on the field sustained or Marshall was going to get a call against them sustained.  The "bounced pass" was a good example.  They kept showing a replay that clearly showed that the Marshall receiver had caught a ball after it bounced on the ground, but they thought the replay showed the player's hands under the ball, which it didn't.

I guess I came in second place.  I watched the internet stream from my Holiday Inn in Bloomsbury in London, England.

OK, Andy, were you watching from Japan?  I think that would take the international prize, unless we have a viewer from Australia.  Any domestic viewers farther away than Seattle, Washington?

But did he or she watch the Marshall webcast?  Inquiring minds want to know.

This may be my last post for a few days at least, because the ship is just about ready to put out to sea.
