I took Arkley's tweet as Solich lists Tettleton as questionable, but Tettleton said he's 100 percent sure he'll play. Hustlebelt put the 100% words in Solich's mouth, which I do not think is accurate.

It also doesn't say he'll start, nor how much he'll play.

With all due respect to our opponent on Saturday, it would be great to jump out to a comfortable lead and let Vick get some more live game experience against another team.

Expect Beau Blankenship to do his best Danny Woodhead impersonation at Gillette on Saturday.

Would be great to see Blankenship get to five 100 yard games in a row.
What is the Ohio record?

Without looking it up, I think Rob Cornelius said it was Kalvin McRae's 6 in a row 100 yard games.

That's what I thought it was. McRae had 6 in a row in 2007, if I'm not mistaken. I would love to see Blankenship break that record, and I think he is more than capable of doing it. I think he's good for over 100 against UMASS, for sure.

The next three opponents are LOUSY against the run.  UMass is giving up 247 yds a game, which would be 114th if the NCAA didn't consider them as transitional.  Buffalo is at 108th with 222 yds a game; Akron is 99th at 194.  Should be able to give Beau the ball and let him loose.  He could easily have 7 straight.

Alex, at some point you might consider petitioning The Optimist for the use of the screen name. What do you think, Optimist, are you willing to resurrect OhioBobcatfan06?

Haha it's funny, too, because in my day-to-day I have something of a rule not to expect everything to go as planned, expect to get off work late, etc. so I'm happy when things go as planned.  The Bobcats have just exceeded my expectations too often the past few years!
