.. how bad must they be not to be up to the MAC's standards?

Are the restrooms just big pits dug in earthen floors? Maybe a roving garcon de pisse for their version of the Tower Club? Is the field covered with used astroturf from a miniature golf course?

Seriously... we're talking about the MAC here.

At the beginning of the webcast, the announcers said that the MAC mandated the move because their 19,000 seat stadium wasn't big enough. But then they had the MAC Commissioner on and he said that the plan was to have some games on campus in 2-3 years. So I'm not sure what it is that has to be done to the stadium in the next couple of years.

I had no idea Gillette Stadium was 2 hours from campus. That's crazy.

I did not hear commish say capacity was problem. I thought he said press box, visiting locker rooms were main problem. That press box does look really small.

No, I said that's what the announcers implied.

It sounds to me like they got a deal on playing in Foxboro and also a good way for the AD to hold the alumni hostage. If they want football on campus they will have to participate in fundraising to upgrade the football facilities, with plans to upgrade capacity to 25000.
