Besides our game, there a few games that should us break into the top 25 provided we beat the spread this week:

1.) Penn St. vs. Northwestern (#24): If Penn St. manages to have a good game, they can win this one which:
a.) eliminates another undefeated team
b.) should knock them out of the top 25
c.) improves our SOS

2.) The miracle wins (the chances are small, but would be very, very good for us):

UNLV beating Louisiana Tech, CONN beating Rutgers, NCST beating FSU, Kansas beating KSU and Kentucky beating Miss St.

3.) The even games (A win by either team will either knock down a top 25 team or knock off an undefeated school):
Oregon vs. Washington, LSU vs. Florida, Georgia vs. South Carolina, West Virginia vs. Texas and Texas Tech vs. Ok.

If we beat the spread and #1 happens and one of the #2 games happen, then we should make the top-25 right?

Good Post. I predict Penn State over NW and Nebraska over OSU.

Forgot to add...

4.) A little help from on high (It's better to root for the undefeated as they are in top 16 and the lower team is ahead of us.):

Norte Dame beating Miami
Oregon St. beating Washington St
TCU beating Iowa St.
O$U beating Nebraska

I really hate having to root for OSU in these B1G games.

Also, you might want to move OSU in a different category. Yes, they are undefeated, but since they aren't in the Coaches' poll, it doesn't matter what their record is. Them knocking off Nebraska would be really beneficial to us.

That's a fair point.

And of course a Red Hawk  (+20) upset over Cincinnati would be good for every team in the MAC.

I can't root for Miami. I'll root for Ohio State knowing it will help Ohio. Ohio State's got its punishment already. Shoot, I hope they go undefeated so they can't enjoy the reward of it.

That was the reason they weren't on the list
