I'm sure I'm sounding like a sourpuss the last few weeks, so I've decided to start a positive thread.

OHIO is 6-0. The last time this happened, I didn't exist.

OHIO has survived a slew of injuries to this point. I have been hard on the defense these last two weeks, and I hate seeing what's happening because I really thought we'd be in the top 25 by now.   Last time that happened, I didn't exist.

Boykin. Welcome back.  Awesome run.

Tettleton's pass on 2nd and 30.  That was sick. Might have been the highest-velocity pass I've ever seen from him.  Honestly I think he was throwing the ball tentatively today until that pass.  That was money.

Daz's return.  Without it, I'm not sure if we recover.  The offense wasn't really there today.  I know we benefitted from a short field, and our stats may have suffered as a result, but this was disappointing.  We did not open holes for Beau today.

Yeah, I thought T2 was a little tentative for most of the day.  Don't know if it was the INT on the opening drive or if it was the injury.

Also, did Donte even play today?  He had no catches and don't recall his even being thrown to or hearing his name called except in a discussion about injuries.  Bussey came up huge as an alternative to Donte; 8 catches, 77 yds and two or three key first down conversions.

Yes, great day for Bussey. I also agree about the pass to Waters. That was an awesome play on 3rd and 30.

I don't think Donte played. He was on the sideline with his helmet off in the 4th quarter.

Weller - pretty much perfect. That 48 yd FG woulda been good for 60+. I think the KO short of the end zone was intentional to try and get TO on the tackle.

The bad thing about that kick looking like it came out of a howitzer is that they didn't get the net up high enough and it thwacked a little kid on the hill. He appeared to be alright, but it made a thumping sound when it hit him. Tremendous kick, though.

Wow - did not see the kid get hit - hope he's OK. Maybe one day when Weller is in the NFL the kid will be able to have a fun story to tell.

Reminds me of the time at The Memorial a few years back when I was next to a guy that got hit by an errant Jack Nicklaus drive. We all pulled back for room around the ball for Jack to come in and hit out of the rough. When Jack got up to us he asked "Did I hit somebody?", and the guy says "Yeah, me". Jack asked "Are you OK?", and the guy says "Yeah. If I'm going to get hit by a golf ball at least it was one hit by Jack Nicklaus". We all laughed, including Jack.
