An impressive interview with an impressive young man. It's wonderful to hear that he'll be back next year, and even better to hear that he's doing well in graduate school, and has such a positive outlook. You couldn't ask for a finer example of a student athlete.

Maybe it's just me but I was sort of put off by some of the comments he made in the Relentless episode about the Penn State game.  I don't remember verbatim, but I remember him sitting in the hotel room essentially telling the young WRs not to listen to the coaches and to not let the coaches and team mentality get in the way of trying to highlight yourself in a big game.

Maybe someone can find me the actual dialogue.

I think you misunderstood him.  The way I took it was "this isn't like practice where the coaches don't want you bruising our guys..."

Believe you have a wrong take from his comments.  I took his meaning to be players have to step up when you are on the big stage, make big plays to win big games.

That's the way I took it, too. I also took him to be saying not that they should disregard what the coaches said, but that can't be over-thinking things - they just need to play.

Back to Travis..

An NFL scout that I know told me Travis is potentially 3'rd or 4'th round NFL talent. But, it doesn't even matter. This guy is going to be successful no matter what he ends up doing after he leaves Athens. If the NFL doesn't work out...I hope Travis comes back as a GA.

If Carrie stays healthy he will be in the league no doubt about that. He is a Freakish athlete, they still talk about his almost 12 foot leaping Int vs Marshall last year.
