Not sure if this scenario is even possible. But what if UB beats Miami (after Ohio beat UB and Miami beat Ohio) and all three finish in a 3-way tie for first in the East? Who goes MACCing to face UT?

That was a relevant scenario until Buffalo lost to Toledo. Still mathematically possible, but it's Miami's division to lose. I don't think buffalo hits double digits against Miami's D. Improving Balls could surprise though.

I think a three-way tie goes to MOFO. Under the tiebreaking procedures from about 15 years ago (which I think are still valid), in a three-way tie you look at how the team did against the rest of the division in those teams' order in the standings. Assuming BG finishes fourth in your scenario, Buffalo would be eliminated because they lost to the Falcons while Ohio and MOFO beat them. Then MOFO would win the head-to-head vs Ohio.

In this fun place, called the MAC, BG is leading Toledo by 28-10 at the half....

This game is truly a great rivalry game. Full of upsets and memorable games. Totally underrated rivalry.

BG's slim hopes of winning the East were dashed last night.

NIU's shutout of WMU means the Broncos won't be bowl eligible this year.
