Renovations at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium have forced a relocation. ESPN chose the tropical paradise of Charlotte, NC: https://fbschedules.com/2023-bahamas-bowl-to-be-played-at... /

It's not the Bahamas but there are far worse places than Charlotte.

Charlotte is home for some of us if our boys play there.

I'd try to make the trip to Charlotte if it works out. Its a great city with an awesome brewery scene for those that are into that.

This is just a one year temporary thing, right?

I've been to games there. That's a really nice stadium. Relatively small but a very nice setup.

Seems to be unless the renovations take another year.

I wasn't putting down Charlotte. I've been through there a couple of times and it seems to be a nice town. It's just odd that it'll host the Bahamas Bowl, although it apparently will be renamed just for this season. As I recall, one of the b-ball tournaments in the Bahamas was moved to the States a few years ago after the hurricane hit the Bahamas.

5-6 hour drive from Columbus, Athens. Not too shabby.

Maybe now they should rebrand it as the Bahama Breeze Bowl.
