Just curious if we'll be honoring our senior players on Saturday, Oct. 28 vs Miami. I think it is much more fitting to honor them when we have a good crowd to recognize them and their accomplishments rather than doing so during a weekday crowd with minimal attendance.

It is during the last home game. Why change it now?

I think that we did it on the last Saturday home game last year so it isn't unreasonable to think it will happen vs. Miami

Agreed. I couldn't recall if it was on one of our 2 Saturday games last year or one of the other non-Saturday games, but I'm confident it wasn't the last game of the year.

It was the last Saturday game last year. Agree it should be miami this year. All the midweek senior days are sad. No fans no parents.

This was my favorite rant a few years ago. Was very happy to see it moved in ‘22 and hope it is a permanent shift.

Last week, Sam moved into 5th all-time in career touchdowns last week with 14.

The way our offense has been moving it feels unlikely he gets to 22 (Donte Foster), but what an incredible accomplishment for someone who has only been in Athens since May 2022.

Updated Records...
Wigs:
Currently 5th in receiving TD (14)
- Foster #1 with 21, McCrae #2 with 19

12th in receiving yards with 1,317
- Needs 303 yards to move into Top 10 all-time receiving yards

Kurtis:
Currently 3rd in career passing yards (6,787)
- 667 yards behind Nathan for #2. About 2,300 yards behind Tettleton for #1.

3rd in passing touchdowns (48)
- 12 TD behind Nathan, 19 behind Tettleton

I really wish these figures were routinely reported as per game averages. Otherwise it's really unfair to those Bobcats who played 9, 10 or 11 game regular seasons.
