If we throw an incompletion on first down a run is all but guaranteed on second down.
I impressed friends/family sitting next to me during the game yesterday by predicting 2nd-down play calling following incomplete 1st-down passes based on Victory's shared observation.
I'm not doubting your scouting prowess, but how sad it is that we can predict the offense - and damn sure every defensive coordinator can too.

1st down incompletion. Run up the middle. Run up the middle. Punt.
1st down run up the middle. Stuffed. 2nd down try again! 3rd down 4 yard route. Punt.

They run every play clock down to 1-2 seconds. There is absolutely zero tempo. Everyone walks in and out of the huddle. After every play they give the defense time to get set, get players in/out, get a breather, get a snack. The only person we run the clock out on is us.

It's more than just bad play calls at this point. It's bad body language.
We pass over 50% of the scrimmage plays, and you guys act like we never throw the football.
I broke it down in a different thread, but it was 57% run plays over the last 6 weeks.

And as many other have eluded to, it's not as simple as you saying "we pass, get over it", it's WHEN. It's HOW.

I've said it so many times recently, I dont even know if its this thread, but Miami knew the damn snap counts. Christ, they were clapping literally seconds pre-snap to get us to jump (and it worked a bunch).

Obviously, BTC, no one on BA has the astute football mind that you have. And for that, I would like to thank you for all you add to this board's discussion on Bobcat football. (How's that for sarcasm?)

However, where did I or anyone else on BA "act like we never throw the football"? Additionally, please find one post from me where I said anything about Ohio rarely throwing the football.

In your quote box a person has 4 out of 5 plays a run up the middle as our offense. Statistics just don't quite show that. So my comment was directed to that specific topic. I am glad I help with your understanding of the game.

Not my quote box. My post: "I impressed friends/family sitting next to me during the game yesterday by predicting 2nd-down play calling following incomplete 1st-down passes based on Victory's shared observation." Nowhere in this post, or others, have I made any mention of Ohio's pass/run ratio.

And, again, I was being sarcastic in regards to your contributions to this board. To be clear, my sarcasm was meant to point out that it's time for you to get over yourself.

I love yourself importance that it was geared towards you, when it wasn't. And it's always a good day to love oneself.

By your quote box, meaning the quote box in your post, which had several people. No where did I state BS2 had the run/pass ratio. However, someone else in there did.
