...and asked him about coming to Charlotte. I'm guessing that we may lose somebody to Charlotte if Smith went there.

Also, If that is the case, and assuming that Smith would like a job for next year, would holding out the disclosure of the reason for termination give the University some leverage in any wrongful termination case? If the reason is not disclosed, would any university hire him knowing what could come out?

I was actually thinking he might get a call from Kirby Moore at Washington State or Timmy Chang at Hawaii before Albin.

Since Albin is not exactly in a stable thriving situation, I don’t think he needs someone who has just been fired.

I think the more likely, but still very remote possibility, is our AD calling Albin.
