I’m batting a Thousand because I utilize real sources with First Hand Knowledge and Accounts. I never shared names and was immediately and childishly ridiculed. So this Burnt a Bridge this Board had to legitimate information about The Ohio Football Program. Nowadays people are okay with believing their Cushy Fantasies like every thing and everyone is always peaches and cream but anything negative is “Fake News”. So 99% of the positive info I’ve shared is now gone because a few of you wanted to run interference and sweep this scandal under a rug.

I knew Brian Smith was gonna be Fired MONTHS AGO BTW.

And Yes The Cover Up CONTINUES.

Similar agenda Ohio University has had since The Former OUPD Officer groomed a HS Minor on Campus during his Official Ohio Duties ON CAMPUS SA her IN A SQUAD CAR and just recently Ohio University still was victim blaming her and not accepting responsibility since they covered for him for over a Decade.

This story is already out but they want to keep their heads in the sand and tell us we should too.

“Nothing to see here guys”

“Time to move on”

“Please follow board posting rules” etc

A major stain on this University and all associated with it due to lack of transparency and a culture of rottenness.

Yes, you were the harbinger of truth on this board in terms of what was going to happen to Brian Smith. I salute you for your willingness to post unpopular but true information.

Question is ,what did the former AD know and when did she know it.

I find it hard to believe if people like Bobcatblitz knew what was going on, the
AD didn't.

What you could have posted:

"There are rumors in the community that seem well substantiated that indicate Brian Smith's had some serious behavioral issues and an investigation is pending."

What you posted though included the words "banging" and "sleazebag."

There was a way to discuss this on this board and stay within board policy. The way you went about it wasn't it. If you think that makes you a truth teller and everybody else is part of some grand cover up, cool.

But how you chose to share this info is the reason it got shut down.

Why is this the question? I don't see the relevance.

Its relevant if she knew about the behavior that caused his termination and
did nothing about it.

Yeah, I guess it would be. Is there anything that suggests that, or are you just baselessly speculating as part of your ongoing quest to blame everything you can think to blame on Julie Cromer?

I've heard heard comments that Smith's behavioral issues were an open secret in the Athletic Department.

Was that true, I don't know for sure.

Someone had to know something, for him to be terminated "with cause".

If you read my posts, I was very clear that I would like to know what our now former AD knew, and when ,I didn't attach any blame.

Right know I don't know if there is any.

I'm sure this will all come out as his case against the University goes forward.

Why would there be any thought she (Cromer) knew about it? She resigned well before the football season began, which would've been his first season. If she knew about it in advance, she wouldn't have hired him. If there was a reason to fire with cause, that likely would've happened far sooner to begin the search for a replacement. She's gone...stop trying to find all fault in her leadership. Maybe it's her fault we haven't put out a press release with the reason for the termination as well.

Who knew what, when is an obvious and reasonable question, especially given how vague the university’s disclosures have been.

The answer matters because it speaks directly to scope and accountability. Is this a case of serious misconduct by a single coach, or does it point to broader leadership or oversight failures within the Athletic Department that also need to be addressed?

Timing matters too. Coach Smith was placed on administrative leave only after Ohio was out of contention for a MAC Championship bid. Was that simply when the evidence became known and action was unavoidable, or was information held until it was no longer competitively inconvenient?

I don't disagree with this. But why the focus on Cromer in particular?

I guess it could feel like she sold us down the river if she was aware of allegations before beating a path out of Athens, but I agree that I don't really care about Cromer specifically.

Yes, and I'm wondering why you so specifically want to know about what Cromer knew and when she knew it. What about the current AD, who actually made the decision to act on this? What about the University President who, you know, is in charge?

The first post about this on this board was on October 29th. Cromer's hire by LSU was announced at the beginning of August, which means she started interviewing in May or June, most likely.

Maybe this was well-known around Athens and the University chose to hire Smith anyhow, but from everything we know, this seems to have moved pretty quickly once this came to light, and nothing I've heard makes me think that Cromer would have known about it way back in the Spring and decided she had to make a move because of it.

10TV is about the last source I’d trust. Even compared to the other news stations in Columbus they have their head so far up the ass of Ohio State that they have zero credible sources elsewhere, and the occasional times they report on something that actually isn’t Ohio State, they usually get it at least partially wrong.

Did they exactly say it was BECAUSE of alcohol in his office. Or did they just report that his personnel file had a letter about that? Because the reporting on the letter makes it pretty clear the two are not connected.

And all you need to do is go look at Reddit to get a pretty good sense of the rumors here.

Thanks bro! I always keep it a buck. I’ve got about 20 solid guys on here who are legit Ohio Men we support them when things are good or bad but will always call out BULL from anybody.
When good people in the Community AND Football say there is 💩 staining The program we must demand transparency.
The more folks asking questions prevents them from sweeping it under the rug.

FYI I deleted my own post because it wasn’t a Joke to entertain the Clowns it was ALL FACTS.
And I said YALL WILL SEE SOON UNFORTUNATELY. 🤷🏼‍♂️

There’s has been alcohol in the office and other places in Peden and the Convo for decades. Hell the university legal council on campus kept a Decanter on his desk full of bourbon. This reason is BS.

I wouldn't call somebody a smooth brain just because they are having a hard time accepting the university is in the midst of a cover up.
