And they're a solid high school kicker away from being 4 - 1 ...

While I am rooting for Penn State in respect to how that helps us, they have not beaten a quality team.  Virginia and Army are both horrible.  Army lost to Stony Brook 3-23.

I stand corrected, it was Navy.  With that said, this appears to be one of the weaker Navy teams the past decade.

Navy lost 12-0 to San Jose State - which is 4-1 with the only loss 3 points to Stanford.

Well, my thoughts on this thread are falling apart faster than the United State Ryder Cup Team on Sunday.

Anything can happen in the Big Ten this year. Jesus, Ohio State isn't anywhere near as talented as they've been in the past and they are running away with the damn thing.

Chip, you aren't wrong when you said it's one of Navy's weaker teams in recent history.  I've watched all of them, and have been to two, including the SJSU game mentioned above.  It's a strange team this season.  The defense looked horrible in their first two games against ND and PSU, but has improved each week inclduing a solid performance against a quality San Jose offense.  They got a nice upset win over Air Force on the road Saturday to get back to 2-3.

Army beat Boston College Saturday, as well.  Go figure.

Army also played very well against NIU, and I think this is going to be the year Army beats Navy.

And the fact they can't play in it is making the conference looking even worse.
