That is the mystery question. It's a real test to Ohio's depth, because there are a lot of players out with injuries. Injuries have been particularly harsh in the defensive backfield. All the projected starters at CB and S before the season are out for the season except one, who, while also out, should return later in the year. Most of the backups have some form of injury, too.
All told I think 8 players are out for the season, and another 10-15 are dinged up. If they can survive Akron, which they should, they get a badly needed bye week, and hopefully they will get 5-10 players back for the stretch run. At this point both the Ball State and Kent games look like they will be difficult, but in the MAC, you can lose any game at any time.
