CBS has published it's projected BCS rankings using the full system minus only the Wolfe Rankings and 2 missing voters from the Harris Poll... One computer model has us at #16

We'll learn a lot more about where we might stand after this weekend. With a win, we "should" reach the Top 25 finally. Also, Louisiana Tech will hopefully fall to Texas A&M. Both of those things go our way and we can really start to see if this whole "BCS Buster" thing must might happen!

It's all moot if we don't beat Akron.

GO BOBCATS!

I'm far more worried about the injuries than I am about what any of the other teams do. If Ohio keeps winning, things will take care of themselves.

Frank's take on the injuries tonight at Donato's was interesting.  At one point he said that the injuries weren't as devastating as they might otherwise have been because we have a system in place and that the younger guys know the system and can fit in pretty well.  Later he said that being able to have the younger guys play now -- as long as we keep winning -- would provide dividends in the future when some of the starters come back to the lineup because the young guys will have had good game experience which adds to our depth.

That is true. All the injuries this year will make next year's team even better.

He should run for political office.....I was scolded on here for talking about "if's".....

Hope it all plays out - I will still continue to drink the Green Kool-Aid!

Last night Frank worked the crowd pretty well during breaks in the radio action.  A few years ago at a GWC event, I told him that I noted how well he worked the crowd and asked him if he ever thought of running for political office.  He replied that in his occupation you never had much job security, so you had to be prepared for a career change at almost any time.  This was all said with that sly smile that is one of his trademarks.  In other words, it was kind of tongue-in-cheek, with a kernel of truth in it.
