Offensive line that can't give Tettleton any time, receivers who can't get open, and worse, our pass defense simply does not exist .

Carl Jones getting booted does not help the pass rush.

LOL. Always best to wait it out :)
Of course, could I be making the same mistake?!

I can't take giving up these late scores! What's the deal? When your in the MAC style points count. It just seems to me Ohio is playing ultra conservative in play calling and defense.

It's as if they started the week off when they got up 34-14. With all the injuries we have on both sides of the ball, they shouldn't take anyone for granted. You know, we've talked about slow starts, but the 4th Q at home hasn't been much to write home about. With today, the Cats have been outscored 31-20 in the 4th at home. Granted, two of the games were blowouts but we scored only 6 points in those two games against really inferior teams. Buffalo and Akron outscored us 21-14 to make those games a helluva lot closer than they should've been. This team seems to lack the killer instinct to really put teams away. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad they're 7-0. But as Rob C. mentioned today, this may bite them in the butt down the road.

You forgot a step. I'll fix it for you:
1. - obtain brown paper sack
1.5 - Place bottle of cobra in it
1.9 - Get bit by the Cobra
2. breathe

At this stage...and likely in all games this year...we lack standout playmakers on defense. We have a bunch of pretty good players but really could use some surpassing performers. Especially on the d-line. Putting the oppo's qb under consistent strong pressure--that would make us top 10.
