Beating redhawk matters.  What follows, therefore, doesn't.  But some heads need adjustment here.

About 10% of teams are undefeated.  It is very, very difficult to go undereated.

Top 25 only puts us in the top 20% of teams.

When stupd cow went undefeated for the year about 10 yrs ago, they, therefore, were top 3--not 10 or 11 as they ended up in the polls.

Yes, I'd like to have blown out 'kron, beefs, UMass by 30-40 each.  And if we'd done so, I'd tell you that we are top 5..or top 3.  No one (as in 'no one') blows everyone out.

You're right; we aren't to 25.  And there's no way in any way that an education from Ohio could be as good as one from Nwstern or USC or Virgina.  Clearly, we all have no chance of earning over 40-50k a year.  We're just not as good.  We're getting a different level of education, playing a different level of ball.

Except Penn State.  And if you think beating a jacked-up stupd cow in stupdcowville was not a pretty good W, then you ain't thinking.

I was tense, too, but if you think such as beefs or UMASS or 'kron were in jeopardy at the end, then you don't get Frank.  But, we GotFRANK.  So, when we led 34-14 late vs. 'kron, for instance, it was pretty much in hand.

See, in business you have to be able to stop dreaming and to see reality.  You say 'no way top 25' and I say 'probaby #20 right now.'

See, kiddies....

This is what happens when you post after kegs'n'eggs.

Friends don't let friends post after kegs'n'eggs.

Even if I do agree with him 110%....

Yesterday's was the first game this season that I thought was in doubt when Akron closed the gap, only because they have a legitimate threat in Daulton Williams and a seasoned coaching staff.  It had last year's MACC written all over it because we jumped to a 20-0 lead then saw it whittled away.  But we got the lucky bounce at the end and sometimes that's all it takes.  Ohio led from 3:03 into the game on, but it didn't feel like it.  Not like the NSU game when we took the lead on the opening drive and never looked back.  But yesterday Akron pulled within a score twice and made a game of it.  Another one to put behind us and move on.
