I assume this was an attempt at humor. But the way we've been playing we need to bring a better effort to Oxford than what we've seen the past 3 weeks. Otherwise, we leave at 7 - 1. Dysart could pick our secondary apart. He's hit close to 64% of  his passes throughout his career. Our injury depleted secondary is vulnerable.

Miami is on a bye too.  They are undefeated at home.  They're very much in play for the division title, and we're the first team in their way, their rival, and potentially a ranked opponent.

They won't need bulletin board material.

Let's not overlook this week. BYE always provides us good competition and will challenge our outside defenders. We'll be -14 on the line but should win by 6.

Beating Miami will be a huge challenge - a sure loss if we don't overall improve from the last 3 games we've played.

Am I the only person not worried about Miami, at all?  None of their wins have been impressive.  All there losses haven't been close.  They can't run the ball (3, yes three, yards rushing against BG yesterday, -1 yards rushing on 0$U to open the season.)  They give up a bunch of sacks. Their passing attack isn't even as good as Akron's.

Ohio can score on anybody and that will be all that matters from here on out.  Very few teams across the NCAA seem to want to play any type of defense this year...it's like the entire country has MACtion fever!

Finally beating us would make their season. Knocking us out of the Top 25 would be an all time best of series victory.  Yet, I don't see it happening.  They can be fired up beyond Marshall and it won't help. Cats will have the home field advantage.  Lots of Green against empty red seats.

I'm also cautiously optimistic about the miami game, if for no other reason than this (advance to 27 seconds in...or watch it all, its awesome) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYHGqGZZV6w
