..Why not face the fact that we were lucky to escape with Wins in all 3 games.....
.... our chances of going undefeated season are very slim unless we (1) get more injured players back QUICKLY and (2) play as we did the 1st 3 games of the year. I suspect we crack the top 25 this week and then drop out when we lose a game, which we will if we keep up the same level of performance as we've seen the past 3 games.
They played well enough to win, but no better. Is this reflective of their potential? Do they have the ability to play better when they play harder foes? Is it just because of the injuries, or is this just an indication that this is how good they are?
There are more questions I can ask, too, but I'm not going to, nor am I going to try to answer those I already asked. Instead I'm just going to relax, enjoy the 7-0 start, and not worry about anything but Miami for the next couple weeks. If they get ranked, they get ranked, and there is nothing wrong with that. It's great publicity, and will also help with recruiting. I agree that Ohio isn't playing well enough right now to belong in the Top 25, but that won't keep me from hoping they get ranked, nor from hoping they play better down the road, and manage to finish undefeated.
