If we win our game and 2 of the 4 in each catagory win theirs, we should be in the top 20:

1.) Undefeateds ahead:
Miss. St loses to Tennessee
Rutgers loses to Syracuse
Cincinnati loses to Fordham
Louisiana Tech loses to Texas A&M

2.) Stepping stones:
Illinois beats Michigan
Iowa beats Michigan State
Minnesota beats Northwestern
TCU beats Baylor

Agreed....if we run the table and want even the slimmest of chances to make a BCS game, Texas A&M winning tomorrow is crucial.

Agreed some more. Look, running the table is extremely difficult for more than 95 percent of the teams with a reasonable chance of doing it. Given the shortcomings OUr team has evidenced the last two weeks, I do not think we should even be thinking about winning the bye week. 'Kron is going to show up this afternoon determined, pumped and absolutely believing they can be in the headlines on Sunday.

Forget about "BCS bowls" ... and focus on reality, whatever that may be ... starting with 'Kron. We do not want a Roo-d awakening on Homecoming Saturday!

1.) Undefeateds ahead:
Miss. St loses to Tennessee YES, still a possibility (Tenn down by 3 in 2nd quarter, but has momentum)
Rutgers loses to Syracuse NO
Cincinnati loses to Fordham NO
Louisiana Tech loses to Texas A&M YES, appears very likely

2.) Stepping stones:
Illinois beats Michigan NO
Iowa beats Michigan State YES
Minnesota beats Northwestern NO
TCU beats Baylor YES

So you're saying it looks really good, right? We won our game and it appears likely that 2 of the 4 in each category will win theirs.

GO OHIO!

Another thing to consider is a team like Texas Tech (with only one loss) is likley to jump ahead of Ohio after destroying the fifth-ranked team in the country.

It going to be a wait and see. I'm hoping we've got a slight advantage.

No doubt Texas Tech leapfrogs us; they won BIG!! And they deserve it IMO.

Excluding a miracle, it looks like the only game we are going to get from the first group is a Texas A&M win. So, maybe #24 in the AP and #26 in USA Today if this holds on.
