It would be nice if EMU could hold on to that lead over Army.

Toledo with big missed opportunity.  up 16-13, takes the opening 2nd half drive all the way to 1st and goal at the Cincy 2 (entirely on the ground apparently) and has to settle for FG.  If they can't hang on, this will loom very large. Big letdown.

Nice win for Toledo. Reedy looked like he was shot of a cannon on the KO return that gave them the lead. Can't believe the refs picked up the flag on the block in the back call.

That was the make-up call for the bad call last year at Syracuse that kept UT from the win in regulation.  It was the season-long reigning champ on ESPN's worst of the worst.

Kent State continues to impress. I thought by the middle of the season they would begin to fall back into the bottom half of the conference.

As we know, coaching and confidence can work wonders.  Look no further than Solich and Bobcats.

Still, for my final verdict on Kent, I await the outcome of its Rutgers game.  Play Rutgers tough and I'm a Hazell believer.  Get smacked around as at Kentucky, and I'll wait to the Kent-Ohio game to render said verdict.
