Some of us in el Bobcat Challenge contribute on the basis of takeaways or turnover margin. I urge your face to do so also.
No better way to turn someone off of your cause than shoving it down their throat.
We get it already.
Do we?
There are 14 (not a mis-print) who've joined the football Bobcat Challenge. Could you do me a favor? Please review the threads here and watch what comes. Let me know the # of posters and readers (check the thread views) who are interested in a better conference or expanding Peden. (Don't even count those who are interested in BCS bowl or love the magic of undefeated.)
Then, let's talk coffee. I don't drink it but I'd guess that $2 is way less than a Starbux or Peet's or THorton, etc. Could ya give up one coffee a week for, say, just 30 days a year. A HUGE sacrifice, absoutely earth-shattering and life changing. There's $60.
Then, let's say that one participated in the Challenge by grabbing a 'distant' goal--perhaps, pitching in the $60 if the 'Cats go undefeated or make a BCS bowl. Realistically, there's probably a 10-15% chance of that.
So, even your $60 is hardly at risk.
What does it really take to support the team? I realize that a lot of people do what they can in other ways.
But, really, 14 people have taken the challenge--and 'we get it'?
And my attempt to start a basketball Challenge has yet to draw a post.
