Not sure this means he can't leave, but a good move by the University. Schaus is/will be a hot property. Great to have him on our side.

From what I've heard, Schaus plans to be here for the long haul. He has family in the area and seems to enjoy the small-town atmosphere. He had a chance at the WVU job a few years ago, but all indications were that he didn't even show interest. Let's hope he's around for years to come!

This is a golden era for sports at OHIO and Jim Schaus has a lot to do with that.

Didn't McDavis renew for a similar term in the last few months?

Since Bobcat Love only comes out when things are bad, this also buys us five more years of Bobcal Love silence. Although I do miss the walkouts and pretzel updates.

Here's to hoping that Jim Christian will become Paul maybe? At least a major prophet.

Yes he did. The Board approved a five-year contract for him last month.

This is awesome news! What they have accomplished with such limited resources is truly miraculous.

McDavis recently signed a five year extension. Hence the "McDavis getting a raise" controversy.

No reason why Coach Solich shouldn't top the Kansas State coach for longevity, at 73 he is having a season to remember in the Big 12.

BL's absence has little to do with the fortunes of our teams. I'll leave it at that.
