What up, Sunshine?
I did this a couple years ago and got a response that you were the "real deal" and a future star. And I won't lie: You have talent. The potential was obvious from the get-go. But I must ask: By the time you're a senior, aren't you supposed to be completing
more passes and throwing
fewer interceptions? You're in serious danger of setting a career low in completion percentage and a career high in interceptions this season. And that's bad, because you throw a lot of interceptions. You're nearly to 50 in your career. Yes, you're also throwing more touchdowns, but that's a product of your team's abandonment of the run game more than anything else. And now you get to face a team that's picked you off six times already. Instead of being afraid of you, our defense is licking its chops.
Then again, you do have that conference championship... wait, what's that? The
backup quarterback won it, not you? That team actually played better when you went down? I guess that explains why your fans are openly wondering if the team wouldn't be better with your backup under center.
I have no doubt you'll rise to the occasion, though. Just like at Boise, when you completed 20 passes for 176 yards. Just like at Cincinnati, when you went 25-for-49 with three interceptions. And just like last week, when you completed just 17 passes and got picked off twice more.
