CLASSIC CLOCK MANAGEMENT

Flat, average and uninspired, see them score six second half points as, against constant pressure from that defense,  they drop the most important game in decades to the hated, alltime rival.

When we lost in Sweet Sixteen, I was okay because we'd ripped it.  After today's performance, I feel like I got beaten up and ended up in the ditch.

now you see why i preach that ANY team that goes undefeated is no less than top three.

Good points...I was also disappointed in how we came out for this huge game.   Three possessions, 3 scores for Miami...and it could have been worse.  They were rolling.

Also have to point out though that our special teams were far from special in the first half.  Terrible kick coverage, poor punting.  Miami had great field position throughout much of the first half.   Self-inflicted wounds and poor fundamentals...missed tackles.

I would say though that the biggest game of the season remains the Penn State game.  Beating Penn State handily in their house, with the world watching -- the Cats ripped it.  That score should have been 30-7.

These next 4-5 games will show how far this program has come.  How do the coaches adjust, improve?  How does Tyler bounce back?  Is he healthy?  Do we get back to a balanced attack?   Do the fans come out?  They need to, now more than ever.

THUD.

I'm still quite angry.

How many offensive possessions did we have today.  Oh.  Let me clarify.  How many possessions did we have on offense today.  And we scored 20 points.  (Yeah, most of our possesions were offensive.)

Didn't we lose another game recently by this same 23-20 count?  That one was bad.  This one is really, really, really bad.
