Now that we may not be in the MAC title game and locked into the MAC's top two bowl perhaps we get into a bowl with a higher payout and go to a place we haven't be before. We are still gonna be in a bowl game and we still can reach 10 wins. Not sure were the MAC will shake out. We are definately on the outside looking in now. Gotta do the best we can and hope things bounce our way to get us somehow into the title game.

I really doubt that. We would have to be no better than the fourth most attractive team at season's end, because Detroit, Boise and Mobile bowls get the first three picks of MAC teams. If there are three teams with better MAC resumes at season's end, then yikes...

It could happen.  NIU and Toledo are both 8-1; could finish 11-1 and 10-2, but Toledo has the win over ranked Cincy, so even if they're 10-2 they may be more attractive than an 11-1 Ohio, which would not get into the MACC if Fiami  wins out.  Plus Toledo might be able to promise more fans; remember, having the ability to put butts in the seats is probably the most important factor in determining whether a team is "attractive."  If Kent wins out, they would be 11-1, while we would be 10-2, and they would have the win over ranked Rutgers.  If Fiami wins out, they would be in the MACC and likely would get one of the MAC tie-ins, even with a 9-4 or 8-5 record.

Or maybe even a better one, like the Sun Bowl or the Heart of Dallas Bowl f/k/a Ticket City on New Year's Day vs. a Big Tedozen school.
