Why are you guys so upset about the playcalling? Our offensive line hasn't done a good job protecting Tettleton and the backs/recievers have dropped a ton of passes. WE ARE NOT EXECUTING!
Because they got behind by throwing into the wind and started coming back when they ran the ball on one of the worse run defenses in the nation. Then when they finally get great field position they run a slow play to the short side and call 2 horrible passing plays that wouldn't have got a first if the catches were made.
It's also probably important to note; Miami's field position in the first quarter was a huge advantage. Survive quarter 3 and pour it on in 4.
I get what you're saying, but to me the problem is on our execution too. Did you see what Miami's run defense did that first quarter? We have had very little from our offensive line save for the two scoring drives. We got, what, three or four first downs between the other drives put together?
Now that we're starting to get some consistency on offense, we'll probably see more runs this quarter.
Okay, time to come back down. We're down 6 points and we get the ball first in half #2. I touched on this earlier; now we can gameplan for what we want to attack them with out of the gate rather than hoping for a stop.
