Absolutely disgusting.  Horrible play calling most of the game and then TT just throws away the season.  I have a really bad feeling about the rest of the games now.

Miami is pretty good too. Pretty even game but Tetttleton has guts. Going for the win and not the tie

Guts? Maybe. Ultimately though, Miami hadn't done much in the second half offensively until the end of the game. I would've taken my chances in OT.

Sometimes he wins like that and sometimes he doesn't. Letting Miami get 20 pts like they did lost the game

Lesson can be learned, but it just means an outside shot a bowl now. Lose another regular season game and it probably means no bowl.

Hope Vick gets significant time at QB on Thursday, he wouldn't make that mistake.

You're out of control.

How so? If Miami wins out they go to the MAC Championship regardless of what Ohio does. If Ohio loses to Kent State and Miami wins out what bowl is going to take us over NIU/Toldeo/Kent State and Miami? BG only has 1 MAC loss, can't drop the game to them or we have no shot at anything.

I guarantee you that if you consistently stack 8 in the box against me and give me 10 minutes, then I'll figure out some way to make you pay for that.

Yeah, some of the play-calling had me shaking my head.  We gave up on the run before we tried it.

From what I saw, no one made many plays for us all day.  We aren't that good.  But if we'd decide to start playing defense when the game starts instead of with a couple of minutes to go in the first quarter, we might be doing better.

I saw perhaps three blitzes by us all day.  Yeah; you can say that the D did not lose this game.  But I want their quarterback under pressure so he'll throw some of those turnovers that he's known for.

We were never in this game....it was uphill the whole day.

Because you're calling for the OC's head DURING THE GAME and you continue to do it on a public forum. Maybe Ohio is not as good as we thought. Maybe we won't win the MAC East or even get to a bowl game at all. And if that happens, then we don't deserve to go. Today, Miami was better, in nearly every facet of the game.

But I'm not going to come on to a public web site and start calling for a coach's job, or a quarterback kid's starting role on the team. That's is out of control.

Tettleton on final play: "I was just trying to make a play. I totally forgot we had no timeouts"

If he really said that there is no way he should be starting on Thursday. You can't have your QB and captain completely unaware of the game situation with 10 seconds left going in for a winning score.

I've been calling for Albin's head for years now, guy is a terrible OC and what he's doing this year is the same stuff he's been doing in the past. Believe it or not, this is actually not as bad as it was in the past.

Tough loss for sure, especially since it came from Miami.  I'll not blame one particular individual as many are at fault for this loss.  I'm still trying to fathom the greatness of this loss since it came at the beginning of our nationally televised portion of our schedule.  To go into this point undefeated surely would've drawn some major attention across the country.  Now, it'll be another lowly-rated MAC game on TV.

A UCLA team with a LOSING RECORD got in last year.  There's bowl slots for OVER HALF of the teams in the country.

The MAC doesn't have as many bowl tie-ins as the PAC-12

You're right, but look at the teams that didn't go bowling and find a team that had a better record than 7-5.  I know Temple got screwed out one year, but it wasn't THAT bad.

This year it's beacuse there are so many good teams in the MAC. BCS conference teams will get their bowls because of their name and drawing power. Ohio has to rely on their record and performance and when 4 or 5 others in the MAC are similar someone will get left out and unfortunately it might be us.

Given the plethora of bowl games, we're definitely going to a bowl game, even if we did lose out, which we won't.

We won't lose out.  In fact, with this wake up call and the D playin' pretty well today, I think we'll win out.

The Foreskins will lose at least 1, maybe two more.  They've got Kent and Ball State at home, and Buffalo is about ready for a victory at home.

If Bobcats beat BG and Kent (their toughest game of the year), and TCB against EMU and BSU, they will be in the MAC championship.

I'm hugely disappointed in the result today...and pIssed that we seemed to abandon our bread and butter stud running game for entire series, but the Cats can bounce back.  Props to the D -- they played well in 2nd half.  Tettleton needs better awareness of the rush...and time outs!

My hope is to still win the MAC, win a bowl game (yes, we WILL be in some bowl), and end the year ranked in Top 25.

I'd be satisfied with 11 wins, but the MACC is the biggest goal for us still.

I imagine 4 MAC teams will be getting Top 25 votes this week:  Ohio, Kent, Toledo and NIU.

Has to be a first.  Impressive.
