When I saw the replay, I knew he has probably done.  Sad, because he has been a great surprise this year.

Yep.  Hope surgery goes well and he recovers.  We will be stacked next yr at WR if everybody comes back healthy.

I was afraid of that when I saw him leave the field.  That really sucks because he got things going this season with the TD catch at Penn St.

I was afraid of that, too, when he left. It didn't look good. I hope surgery goes well. He's had a great season, and really stepped up when needed. He will be missed.

Also missing from your list above (and tonight's game) is Ryan Clark. I don't know his status, but he may be injured, too.

Hopefully they can preserve the redshirts of the true freshmen, but guys like Sawyer, Johann, etc, may have to play more than they have been. They could also consider using some of the backup running backs at WR, such as Kyle Hammonds or Daz, if they can do it.

Don't think you read my post carefully.  I'm guessing we use Troy Hill more as a slot WR/TE and give Roback and Knight more time at TE.

** I also did think about throwing Daz in at WR as well.  Maybe every once and a while.  I'd imagine he could make some big plays on reverses, screens, and trick plays.

The five guys in green plus Clark should get the job done....true freshman Dayne Hammond has played and at 6'6" should be a decent red zone target.....agree with more TE usage in the passing game.

Landon has been a pretty reliable receiver all year.  He has played tough and made some really clutch catches, especially across the middle.  It stinks that the play he got hurt on was a routine catch that should have been a harmless tackle.  Like all our injured guys, I hope they heal and are able to come back and contribute to the team next year at the level they were doing before they got hurt.

Sucks to lose him, lucky we have such depth at WR.  Plus he has been injured for quite a few games so his backups have already been getting playing time.
