Originally, he was supposed to be out 4 weeks with a scheduled return at Miami following the bye week.  Has an information been released about his status?  The D-line could really use his help.  They are not getting the push we saw when he was healthy.

I believe that he was tabbed as 2nd team all-MAC.  I, too, would enjoy seeing his return.

At this point it would make sense to me for him to take a medical redshirt if possible.

He redshirted his freshman year so I'm not sure that's still an option. If I heard Rob C. correctly last night, he seemed to indicate that if we didn't see Scott last night then he may be done for the season. Anyone else hear that?

I saw him walking around during the game.. He didn't seem in bad shape, but it is hard to tell on non-walking related injuries.

That's a shame. I'd really like to hear more about what his injury is. To get a 4-week prognosis and then possibly that turns into "out for the season." I don't get it.

Solich pregame pres conf. 29 Oct.

"Tremayne Scott, that all depends on what the x-rays show in terms of the healing process, and he'll have it x-rayed again this week. But he's certainly not ready in the immediate future to play."

I would be happy if he were to get into a bowl.

If he is out for the balance of the season would he be eligible for a red shirt?

As Ted wrote above, Scott has already redshirted - he redshirted as a Freshmen. Therefore he would not normally be eligible for another redshirt. The only exception is if he lost two years because of injury, in which case he can apply for a sixth year of eligibility. I don't believe his first year redshirt was caused by an injury, so I don't believe he would be eligible to apply for a sixth year.

Carrie, on the other hand, was eligible, and has been granted a sixth year. I also think Dovell would be eligible for a sixth year. If my memory is correct, he was forced to redshirt his first year because he was still recovering from knee surgery related to an injury that happened in his senior year of High School. I haven't heard anything about Dovell applying for one, so I could be mistaken.
