In its latest conference power rankings,
CBS
has the MAC #4, jumping ahead of the Big Tedozen (5). It was already in front of the Big Least (6) and ACC (7).

Not quite sure how they rate the conferences, but the bottom of the MAC is the bottom of all the conferences put together. Some good teams at the top, but my what a drop off.

According to many MAC fans, only the top of a conference matters. The bottom dwellers have no sway on perceptions of conference strength.

I agree but I think that's going to change soon. UMASS is new to FBS so it's expected and as the MAC performs better overall more recruits will chose to go to the EMU's of the world over D1-AA teams.

Wonder how Michigan State, Iowa or Minnesota would feel about that statement?

This worries me. What will happen to all of our hipster fans?
