Careful with the Ohio coach to UK jokes. I work with several UK grads, and Frank is at the top of their lists. I told them I just don't see him leaving Ohio, but if UK put a few million on the table, I couldn't blame him (or anyone for that matter) for taking it.

Living in the heart of "The Big Blue Nation", I too have heard his name come up. Then I tell people how old he is and they say never mind. Frank is happy where he is and trust me he would not be happy at UK. I do not need another reason to hate UK. SEC or not, they are going to have a hard time finding someone who wants to step into that program.

Western KY head football coach, Willie Taggart, was asked if he would take the UK job if offered. His response was that it would be a step down from his current position.

Yeah, there was a discussion about Solich showing up in the coaching conversation at UK.  I think he feels almost as fortunate to be at Ohio as we are to have him.  And I'm not sure he's interested in putting in the time it'll need to resurrect UK's football program.  That's at least a five-year project.  The money down there is going to Calipari to hire, uh, recruit his one-year wonders.
