Its already driving me a little crazy.  So predictable.  I wonder if we have a play up OUr sleeves with Vick lining up in the wide out position?  I hope so.

Those qb draw calls on the second drive after we were up 7-0 totally changed the momentum of the game.

Yep, that, and our horrendous punting game, lack of focus and mental errors, poor tackling, and BG being the physically and mentally tough superior team.

We go one series with the hurry up, score, then abandon it. This sucks.

Astonishing inability by Tim Albin to make adjustments to defensive pressure.

Run inside on first and second and throw the bubble screen or flat pass.  I'm thinking we can't go down the field because of lack of deep threat (with the injuries to WR?).  Bottom line is we gave away a lot of points and...BG dominated the line of scrimmage all night.  To me It's still the talent level.  We are getting the same kind of players as BG and Miami.  I thought we would be ahead of everyone by now but we are kidding ourselves if we think our talent level is superior.

Just a disappointing end to the season losing to in state rivals.

There are others on this board WAAAAY more knowledgeable about our recruiting than I am, so if they disagree I'll defer to them, but my general observation is that on defense we have recruited more at the outside positions up front (OLB and DE) than inside. We're getting absolutely pushed around by teams running the ball against us, and I wonder if the reason is we don't have the beef in the middle.

I can't really blame the defense tonight. Yes, they had their low points, but we held them to 26 points, with 19 being off punting issues. When the other team's offense gets the ball on our 20 yard line, I don't really expect our Defense to be able to stop them every time.

On the other hand, despite our Special Team's Jr. High performance, I agree with others that our offense was just not there. Why did we not use Beau more? Any is it just me, or is Tyler regressing in some of his decision making? When Vick came in, I actually thought he was going to stay in for the drive because he may be a bit of a better runner than Tyler. I don't know what the issues are, but I'm sure glad I have basketball to look forward to on Saturday.

Defense played great for what they could have given up.  19 points were from the 35 going in.  Add 8 points had they given up touchdowns and we lose 34-14.  If Grant doesn't take a saftey, 41-14.

The only time they scored outside that was on a trick play that fooled EVERYBODY.  We didn't let them get long drives for scores.  Even with our offensive play calling, we may have won 14-7 tonight.

Something needs to be done with the punt team.  We're allowing too many guys to get through.  It looked like they overloaded one side and we never adjusted to it.  It was a night where if it could go wrong, it did.

Didn't Weller take that safety? Maybe wrong, but he hasn't punted as a Bobcat? (maybe wrong on that one, but I sure can't remember one). That's a pretty tough assignment if my aging memory is servicing me correctly.

It may have been; I was on the other side of the stadium so I didn't get clear looks at everything.

T. Scott, T. Carrie, J. Thompson, X. Hughes, J. Shaw, M. Dovell, L. Smith, ...  Minus these folks, BGSU did appear to outathlete the cats.  Oh, the MAC's talent level is not inferior.  This week the MAC was rated above the B1G.  This is not our uncle's MAC .

I've never thought OUr talent was that superior....but you remove the guys mentioned above and a ton playin hurt and it becomes inferior.....albeit OUr depth is WAY better than the Knorr years.

I understand the injuries but we really got beat in the trenches last night.  If you go back and look at STARTERS ONLY, most of the linemen (and all the players) have started every game.  The key may be we don't have the rotation (especially) of linemen we had earlier in the year.  The result after three games in 12 days is they looked really worn down and slow.

I have to agree with one other poster, I think this team looks uninspired right now.
