I urge everyone to take the heat of their emotional moment and post it now. This is no space or place for due consideration.
To me, we have certain physical lacks. We get no qb pressure, make few tackles for loss, our front 7 on D just doesn't make plays. Our pass protection is shaky. I trust that these will be remedied through experience, recruiting, healing.
Then, we have mental approach problems. These kill me. Clock management. How can we not even get off a field goal attempt. AGAIN. Passive on defense; we know the oppo is going to run but don't stop it. Seems like every team we play is able to stop our running when they choose to. Maybe this is from lack of front 7 playmakers. Conservative play-calling.
The announcer last night said a double move/go off one of those wide receiver screens would kill. We finally go to two back set, then give it up. Any balls thrown to the TE? Is it possible to try a draw play from the pistol? Shovel pass underneath run to a running back off a fake pass, etc, etc, etc.
