Hey guy's I'm working on a piece for the Bobcat Sports Showcase and would love to get some input from the members who either live in or are from the state of Nebraska, or who are Nebraska fans who have started following Ohio since they signed Coach Solich.

Basically I want to talk to a few of you about how fans and residents there feel about Solich, the 'Cats and their recent success. I'd love to hear your opinions on Solich, Ohio and whether or not you think the attention and success Ohio is having could have an impact on Nebraska recruits.

PM or e-mail me at BV257809@ohio.edu if you are interested in helping me out.

Thanks in advance!

I'm curious how many response you've gotten to your plea since there are quite a few Huskers on this board, some of whom post and others who just lurk.

If you don't have luck getting responses that way, you might seek a few out. A quick search of the board and you should be able to find a few and send them a PM.

That was a very good article, and well done. It covers a difficult period where there was a lot of animosity between the factions of Nebraska fans without needlessly getting into the mess, and builds on the core knowledge of the quiet but focused Coach Solich.

Very nice! Better written than 95% of what I read on the sport sites. I don't care where you sit on the fire Frank issue, you have to admit that UN went into the ditch during the  Callahan(?) years.

Thank you everyone.

As an Oakland Raiders fan I know firsthand how big of a mistake it is to let Callahan be head coach of ANYTHING! He is just bad news.

his was an interesting piece to work on, loved talking to all the passionate college football fans and friends of Solich from throughout the years. Like I said to L.C. earlier it's amazing that such a high esteemed and successful coach has managed to fly under the radar like he has, but it's his personaltiy and he seems to prefer it that way.
