There are too many bowl games for Ohio not to be in one.
I think the bigger question is, do we want Ohio to be in a bowl game? Given Ohio's obscene rash of injuries, an additional game just seems like 15 more chances for players to get hurt either in practices or in a meaningless game only the most fanatic of college football fans will watch anyway. I'm a huge "bowl guy" and I normally agree with all the pluses of going to a bowl game, exposure for the program, blah blah blah. But the way the second half of the season has unfolded for Ohio, I just don't see it. I'd rather this nightmare season end so that Ohio can nurse its wounds. Having to play another game just seems like cruel and unusual punishment.
