Being that I am in northeast Ohio, the only time I get to see Ohio play in person is when they play at Akron or Kent State. Plus, my brother is a Kent State season ticket holder and always has an extra ticket so I don't even have to pay. I look forward to seeing the Bobcats in person, but I am definitely worried. If we can't stop Ball State, how on earth are we supposed to stop Archer and Durham?
You seem to feel that it's obvious that kents will rely on the running game and that we should prepare for that. What evidence is there that we roll like that?
We're going to be lining up with a back-up punter and a walk-on wide receiver at defensive tackle. I'm not sure the gameplan matters, they're going to be able to run on us.
I feel like the fight left our sails when Carl Jones and Neal Huyun took what looked like season ending injuries on the same play last night. We made a good show of it for, what, another quarter and a half after that, but with a couple of exceptions (Beau, Daz, TT on every 5th play or so) everyone looked like they just wanted to go home from that point on.
