me too (plus about 10). I'm also dumb enough to get up before dawn and drive up I-71 (different highway) to watch tonights lifeless uninspired disinterested gameplay made even worse by the fact that its damn sure going to be that crappy 11am blackfriday timeslot.

I'll be at work hitting the refresh button on 10tv.com's sports site, in spite of the fact that I don't even think we'll win.

Not it.  Cancelled my plans to attend with family after last week's effort.  I'm sure I'll still watch on TV, but at least it will be warm and there will be leftovers to eat.

Will be in Portland, Maine, at daughter's house watching the game on whatever means available.  Right now that's looking like ESPN3.com.  It's a new family tradition (now three-years old, I think) of going to my youngest daughter's place for Thanksgiving.  Now, the next day is my birthday, so Frank could give me a nice early birthday present.  Twice he's given me victories over Oxford Tech on my birthday.  So, I'm optimistic that he'll deliver again.

Also, I'd like to encourage any fans in the Athens area to stop by the Donato's Pizza shop at 7:00 on Monday for the coach's show.  It's easy to show up after a win, but now is when the team needs the show of support.  Frank usually brings a player or two with him.

GO OHIO!

Being that I am in northeast Ohio, the only time I get to see Ohio play in person is when they play at Akron or Kent State. Plus, my brother is a Kent State season ticket holder and always has an extra ticket so I don't even have to pay. I look forward to seeing the Bobcats in person, but I am definitely worried. If we can't stop Ball State, how on earth are we supposed to stop Archer and Durham?

ESPN is waiting to see how the BG-Kent game goes to decide slotting for next week. The winner will get that coveted 11 AM slot.

Planning on being there +2.

Unfortunately, it looks like the three of us may have to suit up on defense.

You seem to feel that it's obvious that kents will rely on the running game and that we should prepare for that.  What evidence is there that we roll like that?

We're going to be lining up with a back-up punter and a walk-on wide receiver at defensive tackle. I'm not sure the gameplan matters, they're going to be able to run on us.

I feel like the fight left our sails when Carl Jones and Neal Huyun took what looked like season ending injuries on the same play last night. We made a good show of it for, what, another quarter and a half after that, but with a couple of exceptions (Beau, Daz, TT on every 5th play or so) everyone looked like they just wanted to go home from that point on.

It's unfortunate some people are choosing not to go to this game based on what's happened the last few games when the fact is what's happened the last few games indicates the team needs the support now more than ever.

We need a large turnout for OUr team.  We need to show support!  On a side note, do we have a game time yet?  My tickets say 1pm?

If I do attend I doubt I will be using the word "excited."  More likely I'd be attending to support my school.  It all depends on family plans.

My last road trip was to Marshall earlier this year.  I was excited for that one.  Late in the game I remember having complete faith in Tettleton and the Bobcats to drive down the field to secure a victory.  I doubt I will have such a feeling late in the game at Kent State, although I would love for a Marshall-esque drive to upset a Top 25 opponent.

Heck, I'll be excited if a drive late in the game actually matters.

Long range weather forecast looks nice for next Friday.  30 days ago, I did not think there was a possibility of me being this down on making the trip to Kent.  I am now a coin flip on whether to go to the game or play golf in our Turkey Open.  I'm sad it's finished this way.

695,

The team needs you in Kent.  We have still had a very good season, not what we were hoping for but good.  Make the trip, have some beers, yell loudly for our team and especially our seniors.

In with at least 9 others, maybe up to five more (working on it).  I'm selling this game to my friends up north as a way to see the current top ranked team in Ohio vs. a team that had been the top ranked team...

The jury is still out; my wife has not yet thawed out from the trip to Ball State, and she indicated to me that she's losing interest in attending games where we play poorly.

I asked her how I was supposed to determine a priori how well we would be playing, and she said that part wasn't her problem, it was mine.

Wives.  Gotta love'em...
