Something positive: I thought that was the best defensive effort since Penn State, all things considered. I'm sure those guys felt they had something to prove after Ball rolled us and they did.

I agree. That was probably as much hitting as I saw from the D since the Penn St. game. Linebackers reappeared and started to make plays on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Secondary still a concern but Kent St. only exploited a couple of times.
